A lot has happened over the last months. I know I have been pretty quiet but it is hard to do so many things at the same time for a dobie like me.
My human mom's oma is very sick. She has lung cancer. I don't really know much about it but I know Oma is feeling really poorly and that talking about it makes my mom very sad. She is not going to get better. Every night we are going to the nursing home and I get to cuddle with Oma. She still loves my dobie-cuddles.
I can't stay the afternoons with Oma anymore but I am a big boy and I stay at home when mom works, it is only 5 hours and I am really good at it! I go with a lady and her dogs for a walk when mom is at work, so it really is less then 5 hours being alone. Wanna see what I do when I am home alone? Mom set up a webcam to spy on me!
Two new ferrets came to live with us after Xena went over the Rainbow Bridge, but one of them was not very healthy. One night she feel asleep and she never woke up again. Her name was Smart (after a car brand). It was really really sad. She was a very pretty ferret, but she didn't like me very much.
One of the ferrets is doing good though, her name is Ferrari (yes, also after a car) and she is really funny. She loves to play with me and I really am trying to be a good boy and careful when I play with her. She is really pretty too, a little bit of a dive though!
Here you can see her first time walking outside on her lead, I do this a few times a day but for Ferrari is seems like that is a big thing, maybe because she is so small?

Interview with Julie Lynn Hayes
Thank you so much for letting me interview you, it is always fun to get to know your friends better. Feel free to make your answers as long as you want, we love to get to know you much better.
1) First things first, what is your full name? And what nicknames do you have?
Thank you for taking time to interview me, Evgeni. My full name is Julie Lynn Hayes. I am also called Jules. Sometimes Mom, but my kids tend to use Julie lol
2) What part of the world do you call home?
I live in the United States, in the middle of the country, the Midwest, in a state called Missouri, a city called St. Louis. St. Louis sits at the point where the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers converge. We are called the Gateway to the West.
3) What is your very favorite place in the world? Why is this such a great place to be?
That’s a hard question, but I’ll answer it on two different levels, if you don’t mind. First, there is my imagination, my inner world, which is very rich with wonderful people and places. Second, there is any place that I can be with my kids, although it’s hard to get all of them together to do that. So let’s say Lafayette, where Katie lives, and where I can relax with my girls, and just forget about other stuff and have fun. It’s a great place cause Katie lives there. :)
4) Is there a place in this world you never been too but you would love to visit? And why this place?
I would love to visit many places in this world. The first that comes to mind is Tuscany. I’ve been in love with it ever since I read Under the Tuscan Sun. There is something about this place which calls to me, I can’t explain why.
5) What is your favorite activity?
Writing. I love to write more than anything, although I do enjoy other activities.
6) Do you have any pets?
I have two cats, who are both over thirteen years old. The Mighty Ramesses is a grey and white short haired domestic, and Lady Chablis is a calico long haired domestic. Sometimes they drive me crazy, but I love them both to death.
7) Is there a good cause you want the world to know about? Feel free to shamelessly promote and give us a link to find it.
I’m a big proponent of clicktogive.com, I try to go every day and click – there are different causes there that you can espouse; I click on each of them every day. They range from animals to homeless people, to abused children and more. I think it’s a great cause, and you can help multiple people with a few clicks – it takes maybe a minute a day, a small price to ask to help others in need. http://clicktogive.com/
8) Who, animal or human, on this world would you love to meet for real one day? And why?
Your person will laugh at me, I know she’s snickering cause she knows the answer. Gary Oldman. I’ve admired him for a very long time, and would love to have the chance to work with him. I adore him, and admire him, and would love to get to know the person behind the fabulous smile and beautiful eyes.
9) Last but not least, where on the internet can my friends find you? Website, Twitter, Facebook… you name it… I'll tell them!
I have a website at www.julielynnhayes.com which is being updated, my blog is http://julielynnhayes.blogspot.com , my Facebook is http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=527332074 and my Twitter is http://twitter.com/ShelleyRunyon
Thank you again for letting me interview you! *wags tail happily*

#Dudefest Fun!
Hi my Anipals,
This is me after today's partying. It was all for a good cause of course! SPCA International's Operation Baghdad Pups.
There were BaconBeers, Nip- and Barktinis... and a lot of dancing. All of this to raise money for the pups in Baghdad. There are so many great anipals and their humans on Twitter and that is what makes a pawty like #Dudefest a big success!
Also there were, like in all anipal pawties, quizzes with prices. I think I won one of the greatest prizes of them all. $10 donated to Operation Baghdad Pups in my name by @MizzBassie.
I have a great life with Ferrari and Smart with my human mom, but not all doggies are that lucky. Not all doggies have toys and FerretSisters and humans who love them, I do and wouldn't it be great if every dog in the world could have that?
I am grateful that I could be a part of a Twitter pawty that helps anipals who don't have a great life like me.
Yes, I am one lucky pup!
*Big sloppy Dobie-Kisses*

A brand new start!
Hi my AniPals... it has been a while I blogged on here but that does not mean that I have not been on the net. I have a Tumblr now too but I think I would like to start my interviews back up again. Not as much as I did before but maybe just once a week, what do you think?
Big sloppy Dobie-kisses to all!
