3. If your humans want to spoil you, what should they get for you or do?

Oh a ride in the car, especially to the park, a walk through the woods and down by the water so I can get a drink from the lake, then home for pizza nite and good ole body brush and lotsa love hugs from momma.

4. What is your favourite spot in the house?

Favorite spot is on the couch either sleeping or looking out the window so I can keep an eye on the neighborhood and bark at anyone I think is a problem or a nuisance.

5. What is the most exciting thing you ever did?

We used to live in the mountains of western Virginia, mommy & I went camping one time and I didn't have to be on the leash. I had so much fun running through the woods chasing squirrels and anything else that moved or made noise. Mommy went fishing and I got to help her take the fishes off the hook. My they are funny creatures, we got to cook hot dogs over a campfire, then mommy played her guitar and we got to snuggle together in the sleeping bag. It was a blast. I love the woods!

6. What is your favourite game?

I love to play with my toys..we have Mr. Mouse. a chicken, a looong doggie which makes a funny noise all the time,..my rope, a little squirrel (who's seen better days), and lots of balls. My favorite outside game is sneaking up and chasing squirrels through the field, on the playground, over and under picnic tables and finally getting them up that tree!

Interview with Mortadam’s UNK Hella Hedgie

1. What is your full name?
Mortadam’s UNK Hella Hedgie

2. What is your favourite nickname?
I don’t really need nicknames. I’m kinda like Madonna- one name says it all: Hella! However, mom does sometimes call me Hell’s Bells, Spikey Speedo, Grumpy Hog or Hellacious.

3. If your humans want to spoil you, what should they get for you or do?
I am all about treats! I love mealworms, cucumber, watermelon and especially hummus! I also will never turn down the chance to play with a toilet paper roll. Cardboard not only tastes delicious but also makes fantastic headwear!

4. What is your favourite spot in the house?
My pigloo, which is in the northwest corner of my spacious cage, is the highlight of my pawsonal space. I keep it stuffed with blankets, toys and of course my Speedo collection. I also enjoy running around the living room and making messes for mom to clean up, I worry about her not having enough to do.
5. What is the most exciting thing you ever did?
When I was only eight weeks old I flew from my original home in Dallas, Texas to my current one in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was a long flight but I didn’t mind it! I think mom was more upset about the whole thing than I was! Everyone with the airlines took really good care of me and I was able to use mom’s guilt to get extra mealworms.
6. What is your favourite game?
Best game ever: climb onto your mom’s shoulder and make her think you are snuggling, then pull her hair with your paws or teeth! The noises my mom makes crack me up every time! I am also known as a bit of a pawty animal so I never say no to a good game of any sort with my anipals!

I haz two favorite spots: one is Mummy's lap and da second is being snuggled up in bed wiv Mummy or Trea!

5. What is the most exciting thing you ever did?

Getting myself put on da CatChat website to get myself adopted. I hadz to do dis because it wuz getting near Christmouse and cos I had been such a sick kitteh no one wanted da vet's bills so I wuz not wanted by anyones and dey kept passing me by. Den just before I wuz going to be PTS, Trea saw me on CatChat and told Mummy and within four days I wuz home safe wiv dem. It wuz 9 December 2006 and I hadz da bestest Christmouse ever! It wuz my first Christmouse - I had never hadz cuddles and kisses before! And all da fud I could manage! And a huge Christmouse Tree wiv dangly, glittery fings all over it! And a nice warm fire!

6. What is your favourite game?

Jumping on and off Mummy and Trea in the early hours of da morning when dey are still fast asleep!!! I also like chatting and will answer directly any question I am asked!! I will also answer any question I am not asked cos I luvs da sound of my own voice!! I also luvs running to da front door when da bell rings so dat I can meet and greet visitors!

Interview with Shawnee

1) What is your full name?
Shawnee. Just Shawnee. On my cage tag at the shelter it said my name was "September" but what kind of name is that? Besides, mom always says "New life, new name." @henryandfriends calls me "Shornee" - that is so cute it makes me thump my tail.

2) What is your favorite nickname?
When I was little my mom used to call me her "Little Munchkin." Then when I grew up, she called a foster dog "Munchkin" and I got very upset. I told mom that is my special nickname and she cannot say it to any other doggie. So she never did that again and even now that I am 8 years old and big, when mom says "Who's my Little Munchkin?" I get all happy and say "Me, it's me!" by wagging my tail super fast.

3) If your human wants to spoil you, what should they do or get for you?
Take me hiking! That is my most fave thing in the whole wide world. We have been hiking 10 miles at a time but have even done as much as 14 miles in one hike. I could do more than that if mom didn't poop out on me. You can read about my hiking adventures (and other stuff) on my blog.

4) What is your favorite spot in the house?
Paws down that would be my hidey spot. It is my bed on the floor at the far side of mom's bed between her bed and the wall. Nobody but mom is allowed to come back there but I have been letting my sis, Dixie, sleep in my hidey spot because she is getting old and can't hike with us any more. When Dixie is in my hidey spot, I sleep on mom's bed.

5) What is the most exciting thing you ever did?
One time mom took my sis, Dixie, and me far away to St. Louis, MO. It was a 16-hour drive from New Jersey in the car. Mom had to go there to fix up a house she was renting out. While mom was inside painting, Dixie and I were catching some sunbeams on the deck. Then Dixie and I decided we would see if we could get the gate open. Bingo! Off we went to check out the neighborhood and do some sightseeing (or more like sightsniffing). Unfortunately, it did not take mom long to discover we were missing. She had launched a neighborhood search party in 30 seconds flat and we were nabbed only two blocks away from the house. Oh, were we in BIG trouble! Mom was going on and on about having a heart attack. But it was so exciting - Dixie and I had the best time!

6) What is your favorite game?
I was at doggie summer camp in upstate New York a few years ago and I got to do sheep herding. Whoa! You should have seen me run like the wind herding those sheep! It was so much fun! We don't have any sheep where we live so I don't get to play that game any more :(

Interview with Jadzia Dax of Poogie

1. What is your full name?
My full name is Jadzia Dax of Poogie. Jadzia Dax is a Star Trek character. I simply cannot believe Mom named me after a Star Trek character! I already ranted about that on my blog! The last part, Poogie, is my grandpa's nickname when he was a kid, so that's okay. I'm just glad they call me Jazzy. Or Jazzy the Amazing Wiener. Or as you said, Jazzy the Amazing SuperWiener! ha ha! :)

2. What is your favourite nickname?
Um, I'd have to say "little girl" is my favorite. When Momma calls me that, I just melt. She calls me her sweet little girl. I'm not really that sweet, but so long as she thinks it, I'm happy.

3. If your humans want to spoil you, what should they get for you or do?
Me? Spoiled? Never! Well, maybe. Um, I really like turkey! And ham! And steak! Can we say I'm a carnivore?! I love food, but especially turkey! As for what my humans can do for me, I live to have my belly rubbed! Or held in Mom's arms like a baby. Katie makes fun of me, but I don't care!

4. What is your favourite spot in the house?
It used to be sleeping on top of my brother, Grady. He was so big, it was like I had a huge, soft, warm bed. But since he went to the Rainbow Bridge last year, I'd have to say lying in my new bed, under the covers, right next to where Mom works. Of course, Katie always tries to lie on top of me. She's got this whole "sleeping on top" thing mixed up! Dopey Doberman (no offense!). She's just not as smart as Grady was.

5. What is the most exciting thing you ever did?
Well, I did almost die when I broke my little back two years ago, but that really wasn't exciting. It was kinda scary! As for the most exciting, I think when my picture was printed on the front page of USA Today last year. Mom entered me, Grady, and Katie's picture in a contest, we made the top twenty, and the editors of the newspaper picked my picture to promo the contest on the front page! I was famous 'cause millions of people got to see my cute little face (her words, not mine, although I was cute in my blue sweater!). Mom bought every paper in the entire town, she was so proud of me! Woof! Woof!
6. What is your favourite game?
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE tug-of-war! I may be little, but boy, I can sure hold onto whatever it is I have! I growl, snarl, and bite like a big dog! Katie tries to pull the toys out of my mouth, but I hang on like nobody's business! Mom said one of these days I'm gonna go flying through the air 'cause I don't let go!

Interview with Chester Arthur Kim.

1. What is your full name?
My full name is Chester Arthur Kim. My mom named me Chester when she met me at the Cat Rescue. She thought it suited me. She said I looked like I was wearing an orange sweater with a white shirt. My human-sister gave me my middle name of Arthur because she said it is very distinguished like I am. I don't know if I had a name before I came to live with my family. That time before I was found by the Rescue (in a cardboard box under a porch) is very fuzzy.

2. What is your favourite nickname?
I like it best when my dad calls me Chester Point Dexter. That is why my twitter name is ChesterPDexter because the whole thing wouldn't fit. My human-sister and brother call me Cheese-Star. My mom calls me (blushing) baby-kitty.

3. If your humans want to spoil you, what should they get for you or do?
My favorite thing my mom does to spoil me is to have a nap with me in the afternoon. We lay together and snuggle in her bed. She also gives me cereal milk and ice cream bowls and that makes me feel very special because my dog-siblings never get to eat those things. I know I am my mom's favorite because she tells me that.

4. What is your favourite spot in the house?
I have two favorite spots in my house. The first one is as I said my mom and dad's bed for a nap on top or my clubhouse underneath it. The other is my cat-napper that is in the window of my mom's room because I watch the live bird show daily from it. It's also a good sunny place for a nap.

5. What is the most exciting thing you ever did?
The most exciting thing I ever did was while teasing @SadiePetunia and @HappyDoodleDog my dog-siblings, I was walking along the banister up on the 2nd floor looking into the downstairs family room. And you'll never believe this, but I jumped and landed on the couch and totally freaked out the dogs and my mom. I feigned indifference and then walked away. I had a great adrenalin rush and it was the coolest thing ever! When my mom tells the story she says I "fell" but that is just not true. I also "jumped" in the bath-tub with my mom once, that was really fun too, just for the look on her face.

6. What is your favourite game?
My favorite game is attacking things under the blankets. If mom or dad move their hands or feet under the blankets I love to pounce on them. I also like the red-dot game.

I have been so lucky to meet you and the other anipals on twitter. There are so many kind animals and people that I won't be able to name them all. But there is my BFF @ArtyTheCat, @hanseebundee and his lady @poppy_dog, @SirBarley who is my sister @SadiePetunia's boyfriend, @henryandfriends who always gives me a good cuddle, @IamButton who likes to play games with me. 1. What is your full name?
My full name is Robert Marley, King of the Island of Bequia. Bequia is an island in the Caribbean where Daddy's Uncle Hodge lives and is the home of reggae music (which has the (slightly) more famous Marley). Dad actually wanted to call me Frank Zappa, but mommy wouldn't let him. Sensible Mummy.

2. What is your favourite nickname?
Of course, everyone calls me Marley but sometimes Daddy calls me "Little Boy" (or Frank, when Mummy is not listenin').

3. If your humans want to spoil you, what should they get for you or do?
I love to have a chewy stick to take into the garden but most of all I like to have some time to snooze on Daddy's lap. It's the most comfortable place in the world. When I'm not nappin' I like to play zoomies with my sister, Lola, and to follow my little boy William around as he is always doing interesting things and is very kind to me an' Lola. I also love to get tickled behind my ear (we call that gettin' wuzzes).

4. What is your favourite spot in the house?
There are two places I really like: first, is the beanbag in the lounge by the fire (especially if the fire is on); second, is the steps outside the back door from where I can survey the garden and keep the 'orrid Biscuit (next door's cat) under close surveillance and make sure the squirrels do not steal food from the bird table. There is a photo of Lola an' me there.

5. What is the most exciting thing you ever did?
I recently went to Herne Bay to look for fossils with William and had my first taste of the sea. I don't really like water but if I am to spend my retirement in Bequia with Daddy then I best get used to it (at least that is what Daddy says). Another thing I always get excited about is going back to the farm where I was born when the family go on holiday. My "real" mummy and daddy and lots of my brothers and sisters still live there and we go on endless walks and the nice lady who runs the farm, Julia, lets me sleep on the sofa and gives me beef on Sunday.

6. What is your favourite game?
My favourite game is to pinch Lola's chewy stick and run away with it. She is only a pup and cannot keep up with me so I always win.

Such a difficult question! There are so many kind and lovely anipals on Twitter who are my friends. However, I always give a mention to @henryandfriends as he is the world's nicest animal and like a Jedi Matser to us all. Also, I love @kolo_martin and he is starrin in the movie I am making. There are some nice lady dogs who keep me blushing like @teaganthedog and @2jacksandastaff. I also always enjoy talkin with @emmythecat @lexingtonthepup @woo100 @ri_guy @scottieterror @pinoytarsier @sidthecatahoula @dog_crazy @hanseebundee and @poppy_dog cos they always make me happy and larffin'. @jazzydacat makes me laugh all the time. @jedbramwell looks after me in the mornin cos he is in Canada. 1. What is your full name?

My full name is Lady Doodle Dog Gilliland

2. What is your favourite nickname?

Most people just call me Lady, but I like when Mom and Dad call me Doodle. Also Snoodle

3. If your humans want to spoil you, what should they get for you or do?

Food. Pretty much any kind, but I like steak, fried chicken, and Pizza best. Sometimes they get me toys to kill. I kill them very dead. Once they got me a boy to play with. He was 10 and we played in the sprinkler all afternoon.

4. What is your favourite spot in the house?

On the couch between Mom and Dad in the evening, or on the bed between them in the morning. That's the best place to nap - between Mom and Dad.

5. What is the most exciting thing you ever did?

Once I was walking in the woods with my cousins Newton and Photon. We saw a deer and chased it for a long time. That was very exciting. I'm glad I was with Newton though. He knew the way home. I might have been lost without him. I love Newton. He is the essence of dogness. He also taught me how to howl, which isn't too easy for a labrador retriever.

6. What is your favourite game?

I like to play "bring a toy". When I bring Mom a toy from my toybox, she gives me a treat. Sometimes she sits by the toybox and I find toys around the house and bring them to her. I'm not sure what that game is about, but I get treats for that too. After that I can pull them all out of the toybox again.

I will answer to anything but Fluff-a-muffin.

They should give me chicken, cat nip and lots of pets.

My VIP room. It's a quaint little window seat complete with cat bed and a curtain to block out the undesirables.

I am a well traveled cat. I have lived in Los Angeles, Chicago, Knoxville, and have also visited 39 states.

I prefer red dot or playing with Mousey. I tend to sit on Mousey, then throw him in the air and catch him. Then I yell at him and run away. It's quite sophisticated.

What is your favorite food? I ask because IAATF (it's all about the food)

I really am not a big eater, I do eat because I have too but I am a fussy eater (that is how my mom calls it).

There are a few things I do like though... love even! I love bullysticks! You can wake me up for those.

I also like the dried chicken strips mom cuts up to use to train with me. I only get them when we are training.

I like cheese too, the Gouda kind we have in the Netherlands. Mom says it is human food and she only gives me a tiny piece and not very often.

The most exciting thing I have done so far was a road trip to Sedona,AZ in America. It was pawsome. The rocks change colours through the day. I got to stand on these rocks very cool. I stayed in a hotel and got to eat at restaurants. Then we drove up to Flagstaff,AZ and saw all kinds of tree's. We went to a train station in Flagstaff and I saw my first train ever. A train flew by us. It was ever so fast. I look forward to many more trips with my Blondie and Tallguy. Road trips Rock!

I love to play catch with my pink ball. I can catch it in mid air, love to jump high. I do climb too!

1. What is your full name?

Mah full name is "The Meatloafy" (I thinks). I had another name for a short period of time before I was adopted by mah laydee and dadee.

2. What is your favourite nickname?

Mah auntie calls me Loafy and mah laydee and dadee call me Meaty or Meatatron, or sometimes Loaferson. I've also been called Loafy McMeaterson, Meaty McLoaferson, the Meatanator, Meatball, Meatwad, Loafy-Loaferson and kitty.

3. If your humans want to spoil you, what should they get for you or do?

I like it when they let me stretch out in the bed, wif a pillow behind mah head, and rub mah belly. I also really likes it when dadee picks me and carries me around. I want him to carry me, and then let me nap wif him in their bed, and then rub mah belly. Then, I want to nap in the tub- without water, of course!

4. What is your favourite spot in the house?

I love the couch! I also love sleeping under the bed. I can stretch out and no one can get to me! I also likes to sleep in the sink... I guess I have lots of favorites!!

5. What is the most exciting thing you ever did?

I begged mah laydee for a blog, and she finally made me one!! (themeatloafy.wordpress.com in case anyone wants to know)

Pounce on Ruckus. Ruckus is mah sister, and I LOVES to scare her! It's hard, because I wear a bell, sos I has to sneak up real quiet. But sometimes, I get her really good, and we chase each other around for awhile! I will climb up on the table, and wait fur her to walk by, and then JUMP! It's verry fun, and may laydee and dadee always laugh at us!

This weekend another great #pawpawty hit Twitter. Of course there was a great cause to help and I am so glad to be able to write that the target wasn't just hit but broken. *bounces around happily*

This time the theme was Surfin' Safari so I dressed up in my hottest wetsuit and got out my surfboard.

I was happy to DJ again this #pawpawty. I had so much fun last time that I volunteered for this one again. And I am sure I will volunteer again and again... and again... until they are fed up with my choice of music. BOL.

Camping in Sierra Nevada mountains is a great adventure! I went in a houseboat, chased lizards, took a long hike to the Kings River Gorge, an got real nice an dirty! Very funn! Also getting kittehSIS Hildee has been crazee! Most exciting thing ever tho is falling in love with Poppy!

Dat's a hard one cuz I is pretty much in charge around here. I guess I would want mai purrson to stay home more an pay more attenshun to me - while at the same time giving me plenty of pawsonal space of course.

Mai favorite place is on top of the wall looking over da living room. It has strategic views in all directions so I can instantly spot activity or danger. Plus I like being up high.

Dis is a hard one cuz I has had many adventures. One of da bestest was having mai purrson come home with another cat. I was so surprised that it kinda scared me. But then it turned out that it was just Mr Boot! He is mine, and that was a big adventur

That easy, it's the toilet paper game. She sets pan-traps by putting hand-soap over the t.p. I'm supposed to see how much of da tp I can shred without tipping over da soap! Bonus points if She fogets to set the pan-trap. I never lose!

Most exciting thing U ever did

Live daily as a canine 'scolar' & gentleman. My good life began when I "graduated" from Golden Oldies Animal Welfare League (AWL). Local & reginal news media interviews followed, plus photo shoots, you name it. At 18 I earned a Hon. PhD.(c) for my dogtal thesis: "The effects of dietary "Spam" on canine pMail". Now I'm webbed & twittered.

Thesis background: This pMail question has dogged the canine world since the time of industrial revolution. Methodology: The research involved much leg work, on the streets and in the field. Research Tools: Eating. Peeing. Sniffing.

(My friends and admirers are, rightly amazed, 'higher learning' has NOT gone to my head.) I still do my daily chores: bring in the mail, take out the trash, bring in the groceries, oversee security, etc; I still talk to 'ordinary' dogs and cats!

My full pedigree name is Ruddlands R-Miss-Tiss Girl but everyone calls me Poppy (get it? I was born on Armistice Day 1999)

Most peeps call me Pops but my boy-furiend calls me popperwompers

Any sort of food treat makes me happy or trips out in the car

I am nearly 10 year old and done many exciting things I once came second in a Open Dog Show in Newark but didn’t like showing so gave it up after that, I also went to stay at the seaside in a caravan with my Aunty Jo and sister Charley at Filey North Yorkshire for a few days I really missed my mum & dad but had ice cream fish & chips while there.

Interview with Vladimir Ilyitch O'Duffy

1. What is your full name? 2. What is your favourite nickname?

Firstly I would like to thank you for this opportunity of appearing on your most admirable blog. My name is Vladimir Ilyitch O'Duffy but I'm almost always called 'Vlad' although the woman who feeds me has been known, in her softer moments, to murmer "Illie". I cannot explain this. There are many things about humans which defy explanation.

3. If your humans want to spoil you, what should they get for you or do?

If humans wish to spoil me all they need to do is bribe me with small pieces of poached chicken breast. I am very partial to food.

4. What is your favourite spot in the house?

I live in a small house by a creek in Australia and my favourite spot, apart from my basket by the fire, is in the kitchen where I have a chair of my own easily reached by judicious use of a footstool. From here I can gaze through the glass wall at the possums munching on the quince tree. Quaint creatures, but I advise against getting into an argument with them.

5. What is the most exciting thing you ever did?

Over my long and rich life spanning 18 years, the most momentous event was my encounter with a tiger snake early in 2009. That was a long, hot summer and the snakes had been making their way up from the creek at the back of the house and, although I am a mild mannered chap, one morning I quite lost my temper with a snake that was attempting to come inside. On numerous occasions I had warned the woman about leaving her backdoor open but would she listen? In a fit of rage at the intruder I attacked! Alas, I was badly wounded and spent almost 2 weeks in the animal hospital recovering. The snake venom damaged my lower spine and left me with hardly any power of movement and I can no longer jump. But the snake died! And I lived to tell the tale.

6. What is your favourite game?

These days I am more or less an invalid and am not allowed outside except under strict supervision but I still enjoy playing (gently) with my feather on a string and my beloved ping pong ball

Of course my writing keeps me busy. Twitter is a welcome break from my hectic blogging schedule and I must thank @DaisyCurlyCat for keeping my spirits up when I become a little depressed. She always leaves comments on my blog too! There are so many wonderful anipals like @ArtyTheCat @ladycat3 @Mulder_Cat @thinkpad1 @kipperdoodle and the incredible @Manxington to tweet with. Even the dogs are friendly on twitter, for example @PepiSmartDog

Twitter has opened my eyes to a larger vision of the world. Never would I have imagined myself chatting with a doberman!
